We Teach What We Do
We have a thriving consultancy focused on data science, data-visualized content, development, and consulting. Simply put, we teach what we do. Our expertise translates into valuable insights for learners in the classroom. We bring a consultative approach to answering questions and solving problems posed by learners and bring value beyond the courseware to every class we deliver. In fact, Fulcrum Forge principals Bob Carver and Peter Lammers have authored multiple data science and data visualization classes for public sale through our courseware partner Logical Operations.
Training for All Job Roles
Data analysis and data visualization skills aren’t just for data scientists anymore. Working with data is now a critical component of many jobs. As big data makes information more accessible to organizations of all types, the ability to analyze and visualize data is becoming a critical component of many job roles. The ability to do it well will make you stand out and help you advance your career.

Delivery Designed to Work with your Professional Life
Making time for training, and staying focused in class while working a busy job are barriers to training. To help our students make time for training, and get the most out of it, we offer:
Attendance from anywhere. We deliver virtual classes anywhere there is an Internet connection using Zoom. In class we facilitate discussions, answer questions, deliver digital handouts, provide chat and direct messaging.
Follow-up support during and after the class. Each class has defined times after classroom hours on training weeks to answer questions, and provide additional guidance. We provide a free 30 minute post-class consultation for every student, and email Q&A for 30 days after class.
Optional reduced class hours to let learners deal with life and work. Most training centers run classes from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. They include an hour lunch and two half-hour breaks. You spend the entire day in class (more when you count travel time to and from the training center). Of that, 5.5 hours is learning time.
Our classes are on site or virtual, there's no travel time for you. You can attend from home or from the office to remain plugged in and focused. Our class hours are from 9:00-3:00 Pacific time, with a half hour lunch, and two 15 minute breaks. This provides 5 hours of focused class time but learners start and end their day taking care of life and work related tasks.
Cutting down the amount of class time keeps learners more focused. We often cover the same amount of material more effectively in less class time because students aren't distracted by work tasks, and because our class time ends before learning fatigue sets in. Is there time for sidebars, additional questions, and discussion of personal scenarios? Absolutely, that's what office hours and email Q&A support are for.
